We will be disciples of Jesus, sharing in the work of
making God's reign more present in the world.
We will be a community of hospitality and prayer,
reaching out to make each person we encounter feel wanted, trusted,
reconciled, and loved.
We will be a people open to continual conversion by the
Holy Spirit, reflecting on the Scriptures, living out the Eucharist, and
responding to the changing needs of the Church and the world.
We depend on God's grace to grow in our faith,
continually improving our understanding of the Gospel message and its
application to our lives.
While honoring our history and tradition, we
acknowledge our need to be open to change and to the ever-renewing call of
the Spirit...
As we provide opportunities for all to contribute their
talents to the parish, we are able to reach out and hope to heal the
alienated and service the spiritual and material needs of our brothers and
sisters wherever we find them.
Strengthened by prayer, learning, and community
support, we strive always to make God's Kingdom present by sharing in our
works and actions the Good News of Jesus Christ!
We celebrate and continue the work of Christ
together...
Through our inclusive liturgies we gather in prayer and
support making people feel wanted and trusted, reconciled and loved.
Through our ongoing commitment to Christian formation
as we encourage one another to grow spiritually, to adapt to a changing
Church, to share our Christian values with everyone in the larger community.
Through our social consciousness and Evangelization as
we give witness to the Gospel by celebrating the joys and suffering, the
hopes and dreams of both the committed and the alienated.
In our outreach and Re-Membering...
...Your tears will be understood, your questions can be
asked without fear, and your feelings will always be heard and respected.
Inspired by the conviction that no one can be Christian alone, we welcome to
our Faith Community any and all who are searching for ultimate meaning and a
deeper experience of the Good News of Jesus Christ!
